This pretty necklace is vintage circa 1930s. It is fashioned from tomatoe shaped, translucent, whiskey colored amber beads. The beads have bits of things inside but no bugs that I can find. The necklace measures 18 inches long and the beads graduate from about 5 mm up to about 11 mm in size. There is the usual screw type clasp from this time period. The beads are knotted in between and the condition is very good. There is string showing up near the clasp when your wear the necklace, about 1/4 of an inch on each side, it probably has stretched out over time.
