This pretty pearl necklace is circa 1990s. The pearls are round, about 2mm in size and are of the fresh water variety. The necklace measures 30 inches long and 1 inch wide when not twisted and laid flat. There are 16 strands of lustrous, cream colored pearls and a clasp of 14k yellow gold. You can see white silk at the top near the clasp where the pearls were strung and tied off and in the very middle of each strand you can see where two strands were connected, when the strands are twisted, this is not apparent. See all of the pictures. These pearls look lovely twisted and if you have a thin neck, even better doubled into a choker style.
