This painting is vintage but I couldn't tell you when, although the board its painted on doesn't appear really old. As the saying goes, I don't know art but I know what I like. This little painting appealed to me. It is painted in either acrylics or oils and measures 10 X 8 inches on a very thin board, about 1/8 inch. The signature looks like it reads B. Larson, which means nothing to me. On the back of the wood it looks like it says OT 78 and the board looks like it may have been made to paint on as it has a beveled type edge that would make it easier to frame? It is an actual painting as you can see and feel the brush strokes and the work is very nice if a bit primative, it is still charming.
